Welcome to our website!
The
Bloomin' Jungle is our small business in which we raise a variety
of African Violets and other Gesneriads for our pleasure and hopefully
for yours.
Located in beautiful
Upstate-Central New York State, we are minutes from
Lake Ontario, and within an hour from either Rochester or Syracuse.
Our plants are raised
in our home, filling every spare inch of space that we
do not absolutely need to live in. We carry over 2000 varieties
of Gesneriads, and we are always adding to the collection.
Each plant is selected
for a reason, not because we don't have it, but it
must show some quality before we decide to carry and grow it. It
may not
always be a show winner, but there is a good reason we keep it.
If a
variety does not live up to our expectations, we toss it, as we
don't
believe in passing along something that is not working for us.
We hope you enjoy browsing
around in our web site, we will be constantly be
changing it when new varieties become available.
We sell leaves and cuttings of plants as they are available, most plants are sold on eBay as we just can't grow enough to put on this site and be sure we have the varieties available.
We do not have the space available at this time to
grow out
babies of all the varieties we have.
